The hotel, room and service were all top notch. The hotel itself feels like home away from home, the room has a detailed design which makes you feel like you’re in a jungle retreat. But perhaps the best part was the hospitality and staff; always eager to help and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Mike and his staff are excellent.

My stay at Grand Balam Plaza was incredible. The hotel feels comfortable, clean and safe. The decor is a great combination of natural and lux. The room felt spa-like and the bed was very comfortable. I loved the option to choose my preferred pillow for the best night sleep. There are 2 hot jacuzzis on the roof for soaking up the night sky. The staff was friendly and had great recommendations for tours and things to do nearby. There are restaurants within walking distance.

Staying at this villa was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with impeccable hospitality and warmth. The villa itself is stunning, boasting luxurious amenities and breathtaking views that exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail in every aspect of the villa's design and furnishings truly made us feel like royalty. The spacious rooms were elegantly decorated, providing comfort and relaxation throughout our stay. We enjoyed every moment spent lounging by the hot tubs, soaking in the serene atmosphere of the surrounding nature. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, offering excellent service with a genuine smile. Our experience at this villa was nothing short of perfection, and we can't wait to return for another unforgettable getaway. Five stars all around!

Great little gem in Tulum. The authentic and warm kindness of the owner and his service staff is unique. The roof top terrace with two big Jacuzzis is top-notch.

Staying at Grand Balam Plaza was the best decision we could have made for a large bachelorette party two weeks ago! Not only is the villa beautiful, the rooms were great, but the upstairs patio was incredible and the entire staff were lovely. The host, Mike, was my life saver and was an absolute gem to work with. He helped not only with our hotel booking, but also connecting us with a chef, made us a dinner reservation and booked us a cenote excursion! He had offered many more Tulum activities as well. He was responsive, polite, knowledgeable and just so kind and definitely made the trip easier to plan for me. I highly recommend staying here, it was close to everything in the center and we never felt unsafe. Our breakfast every morning was delicious and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip! It definitely says something given we were 13 women, in a city none of us had been to, and not a single issue. Thank you Mike, Brendy, and everyone else who made this the best trip we hope to make it back soon!

We had a great stay at this hotel. The bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and the host and his personnel were truly amazing. The lady who welcomed us was incredibly kind and friendly, and Mike also kindly turned on the jacuzzi for us, which made our stay even more special. The rooftop terrace is something special as well. Definitely a great stay in Tulum — we would happily come back!

Had an amazing time at Tulum city center for my friends bachelor party. This lodging had enough rooms to accommodate 19+ people comfortably. Each room came with a comfortable king sized bed, fridge, and its own bathroom. The AC was very nice and made the room an oasis against the hot weather of Tulum. I really liked the common areas and its decorations. They were all beautiful and felt like a hidden paradise from the busy city roads. The host was very nice and receptive to any issues we came across. My only thing that I wished was better was my restroom experience. The toilet had irregularities with flushing. The shower was also inconsistent with heating, and water pressure was more like a clump of droplets. Otherwise it was an amazing stay and would recommend if traveling with a large group.

I stayed here 2 nights last week and it was a perfect stay. The room was super comfortable, with a good a/c. The shower was excellent with hot water and good pressure. I didn't use any of the amenities (it was so hot outside) but the entire hotel was kept very nice. Location was key and I felt super safe. I was also able to walk from the ADO bus station easily. Additionally, the staff was great with communication by WhatsApp as soon as my reservation was made, and then follow up with any questions I had.
